The Lead Payroll Integration Specialist is responsible for enhancing HRIS and Payroll integrations, ensuring data integrity and effective collaboration between stakeholders, and supporting payroll operations globally.

Reporting to the Global Payroll Transformation Lead, the Payroll Integrations Specialist will provide expertise in building, running, monitoring and improving integrations between our HRIS (SFEC) and our outsourced Payroll vendors (ADP Celergo and GV and Cloudpay) globally.
This role works closely with the Global Payroll teams, external payroll providers and internal Business Systems teams to ensure our payroll integrations run smoothly and efficiently with the highest level of data flow and integrity. The right candidate must be a team player and is required to have excellent communication skills to bridge the gap between technical configuration and Payroll Operations needs.

Responsibilities:
- Integration Design & Development: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand payroll operations processes and its impact on integrations to translate them into integration specifications.
- Be the Payroll SME on the configuration and customization of SFEC to align with integration requirements that will ensure successful delivery of all data required for Payroll processing to our outsourced providers via API.
- Data Mapping & Transformation: Manage data mapping and transformation logic between SFEC and external systems, ensuring that data structures and formats are compatible and accurately translated. Carry out field mappings, propose data restrictions depending on pay groups and configuration of mandatory fields.
- Analyze payroll data and troubleshoot technical issues affecting data flow, including pay frequency mismatches, salary field mapping, and compliance discrepancies.
- Testing & quality assurance: Conduct system testing, identifying issues, and recommend appropriate solutions or enhancements.
- Provide end-user training and support during the implementation and post-implementation phases.
- System Maintenance: Monitor, maintain and troubleshoot the integration to ensure data integrity and uninterrupted business processes. Proactively build dashboards/alerts, and handle incident response with root-causes fixes and long-term solutions.
- Partner with the Program Manager on requirements and roadmaps
- Participate in global payroll transformation initiatives and contribute to the development of standardized integration frameworks.
What will help you succeed
- 5+ years of experience in payroll systems, data integration, & HRIS/payroll implementation with productions ownership.
- In-depth knowledge of SFEC, ADP and Cloudpay, including configuration, workflows, and business rules.
- Strong understanding of payroll processes, hands-on with payroll integrations
- Experience in implementing and supporting SFEC payroll related integrations, including end-to-end project lifecycle.
- Ability to analyze complex payroll requirements and design appropriate solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to identify, analyze, and resolve system issues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Previous achievement of digital transformation initiatives
- Experience working with global operations teams across multiple geographies
