About the job :

Are you passionate about transforming raw data into strategic insights that drive supply chain efficiency?

As the Lead, Operations Analytics Development, you will be the Data Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the entire SSENSE value chain. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Data Visibility & Governance, your role is to design, build, and certify scalable, high-quality data products. What you will do :

  • Data Product Certification: Develop, test, and deploy certified, stable, and secure data sources to transform raw data into reliable assets, critical for business decision-making.
  • Engineering-Business Partnership: Translate complex business needs (Supply Chain processes) into precise technical data requirements and actionable user stories for the Engineering and Data Platform teams.
  • Enabling Self-Service (BI): Develop standardized documentation, lead interactive training sessions, and maintain an up-to-date data catalog to empower domain analysts.
  • Governance and Documentation: Collaborate with the Lead, Data Integrity & Governance, to develop standards and artifacts (data flow diagrams, Confluence pages) for the operations domain.
  • Advanced Analytical Support: Provide ad-hoc technical support for analyses requiring complex transformations, while identifying and leading continuous improvement activities for existing data models.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a relevant quantitative field.
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in data modeling, information architecture, and data product design, with a strong mastery of SQL and relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL).
  • Advanced experience working with next-generation data warehousing platforms (e.g., Redshift, Snowflake).
  • Ability to synthesize and simplify complex technical information and strong communication skills to influence cross-functional teams.

What Sets You apart :

  • Practical experience with leading data visualization tools (Tableau, Looker, AWS QuickSight).
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Experience with process mapping software (Lucidchart, Visio).
