The Lead, Leaves and Accommodations will be responsible for leave of absence, time off, and workplace accommodation programs. This role is primarily focused on our U.S. programs, but will be responsible for overseeing and partnering on global leaves and accommodations to ensure consistent principles and best practices worldwide.

In this role, you will administer, design, manage, and optimize our leave, time-off, and accommodation strategies, ensuring compliance with regulations, while delivering a best-in-class employee experience.

You will partner with key stakeholders, including People Business Partners (HRBPs), Legal, Payroll, Equity, as well as external vendors, to ensure efficient, compliant, and best-in-class employee experience.

What you'll do:

  • Oversee LOA Program Management, including managing the overall Leave of Absence program, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the program from initial leave requests to return to work planning.

  • Own the end-to-end workplace accommodation process under the ADA and applicable laws. This includes designing the program, directly leading the interactive process, ensuring consistent and fair determination of reasonable accommodations, and developing metrics and reporting on program outcomes.

  • Manage LOA 3rd party vendor, ensuring optimal service delivery and operational efficiency.

  • Partner with the HRBPs, Legal, Payroll, and external providers as applicable on all aspects of LOA & Accommodations

  • Own the global strategy and execution of all leave of absence, time-off, and workplace accommodation programs.

  • Develop, implement, and maintain policies and procedures related to leaves of absence, time off, and workplace accommodations. This involves managing all program documentation, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and identifying and addressing process improvements to optimize the employee experience. Adapt our U.S. policies for international locations as needed. 

  • Develop and track key metrics to assess program performance, compliance, and employee satisfaction. Provide reports and insights to senior leadership, making data-driven recommendations.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to build manager training, engagement, and proactive leave resources.

  • Serve as the primary subject matter expert on all U.S. leave laws, including FMLA, ADA, and state-specific regulations, while also advising on global leave policies and protocols.

What you'll bring:

  • 5+ years of experience managing leave of absence and/or accommodation programs

  • Deep knowledge of U.S. federal and state leave laws (e.g., FMLA, ADA, etc.) is required

  • Experience with global leave laws and managing programs across multiple countries is a strong plus.

  • Proven experience in program management and scaling processes.

  • Experience working with leave tracking HRIS systems and leave vendor management platforms.

  • Exceptional judgment, discretion, and ability to manage sensitive and confidential matters.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts and facilitate productive conversations.

  • Proven ability to work independently and handle ambiguous situations with confidence

  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, particularly in undefined or adapting circumstances

Compensation Disclosure:

ServiceTitan is committed to fair and equitable compensation for all of our employees. We thoughtfully consider a wide range of factors when determining individual compensation. The expected compensation for this role for candidates residing in Canada is between $121,000 CAD - $170,900 CAD. Actual compensation for an individual may vary depending on many factors, including skills, performance over time, business needs, qualifications, experience, and location. In addition to the base salary, the total compensation package also includes equity and a holistic suite of benefits. This position may also be eligible for a bonus.
