Our flagship product, the dcbel Home Energy Station, is a small wall mounted device that gives everyone ownership over their energy supply by using solar power to charge their EV and home, unlocking their EV’s battery for backup power (V2H), and optimizing the energy flow between their solar panels, EVs, backup battery and the grid.

 

The opportunity

 

Reporting to the CMO, The Ecommerce Lead is the driver of all online digital marketing efforts and oversees all performance marketing initiatives; both internal and external, across multiple platforms and formats to drive sales, engagement, retention, leads and transactions. This individual is an expert in all things related to client acquisition, funnel development, channel optimization, segmentation and localization, analytics, and meaningful measurement. The position collaborates with the departments of public relations, content, business development, customer experience, IT and human resources to help define both campaign direction and business needs.   

 

Main responsibilities

 

  • Define the vision, projections, roadmap, and overall eCommerce D2C strategy   
  • Oversee the paid media & performance channels (paid search, media placements, paid social, SEO, CRM, UX/UI, Merchandising, Conversion rate optimization…)  
  • Build and oversee the eCommerce roadmap, from a business and technological point of view  
  • Work closely with the Content, Experience, Service & Technology teams to deliver new website features and improvements  
  • Manage and work closely with external partners (agencies, technology providers)   
  • Manage a fast-paced growing team  
  • Define and prioritize KPIs to manage eCommerce operations  
  • Track performance on an ongoing basis, report to internal stakeholders and build actions plans to improve performance and ROI  
  • Share eCommerce best practices and act as a thought leader to all internal stakeholders 

 

Key requirements

 

  • A bachelor's degree in marketing, or a related field 
  • Deep understanding of Martech, traffic acquisition, CRO and eCommerce best practices 
  • Proven track record of 7+ years of eCommerce experience. 
  • Proven track record of leveraging automation within user acquisition strategy 
  • Strong understanding of performance modeling and analytics 
  • Experience in electric vehicles, solar or energy management industries considered an asset  

 

Bonus skills

 

  • Bilingual English and French written and spoken.
