Job Description

AIM is currently looking for a Laborer for its Laval, Quebec site, Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Under the supervision of the team leader, you will be responsible for sorting different types of materials and performing all other related tasks.

What you’re responsible for:

  • Participate in unloading materials
  • Sort different metals according to their characteristics
  • Inspect customers' metals
  • Identifying the correct type of metal for each product and validating its quality
  • Weighing metals on the scale
  • Performing data entry
  • Working with different types of machinery

Qualifications

To join our team:

  • You have one (1) to three (3) years of experience in a similar position
  • You have knowledge of metal recycling (major asset)
  • You have experience with forklifts (major asset) On-site training
  • You are bilingual in French and English (an asset)
  • You demonstrate safe professional behavior
  • You are versatile and resourceful
  • You are a team player
  • You are known for your ability to manage priorities well
  • You provide excellent customer service
