Job Description

What you’re responsible for:

  • Receiving, sorting and organizing different types of non-ferrous metals
  • Weighing and tracking the material using the RECY system
  • Providing excellent customer service
  • Assisting with torch cutting when necessary
  • Preparing shipments and receiving equipment using a forklift
  • General maintenance in and around your work area

Qualifications

To join our team:

  • You have previous experience operating a forklift (an asset)
  • You have previous experience in metal recycling or an industrial environment (an asset)
  • You are comfortable working indoors/outdoors in all weather conditions
  • You are physical fit and able to perform repetitive lifting up to 50lbs
  • You are able to work well in a team and on your own
