Job Description

Under the supervision of the site manager, the labourer will be responsible for sorting different types of metals using manual processes.

  • Sort the different metals according to their characteristics;
  • Prepare the material to meet the quality criteria ;(e.g. cutting aluminum)
  • Working with different types of machinery; (forklift)
  • Ensure that the premises remain clean at all times;
  • Assist with loading and unloading customer vehicles;
  • Assign the correct type of metal to the metals provided by the customer.
  • Participate in shipping tasks;
  • Assist with torch cutting as needed;
  • Provide excellent customer service.

Qualifications

  • ON-SITE TRAINING!
  • Minimum experience of 12 months as a day laborer;
  • Ability to work in a noisy and dusty environment;
  • Knowledge of metals (an asset);
  • Be comfortable wearing personal protective equipment (mask, caps, helmets, gloves, etc.).

Additional Information

  • Temporary position, full time Work schedule:
  • Monday to Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Work indoors and outdoors;
