Desjardins’s IT Foundations teams bring together the organization’s cross-sector IT capacities and provide ongoing support to a growing number of digital projects. The Foundations, Digital Experience, Process Automation and Cross-Sector Functions Department covers 16 foundations and supports Desjardins Group’s business sectors. It provides them with technology solutions aligned with enterprise architecture targets and the needs of various teams. Its mission is to modernize and simplify the IT landscape while ensuring the security, stability and compliance of solutions. In this environment of fast-paced digital transformation, Desjardins is looking for passionate, innovative talent to strengthen its IT teams. We’re seeking an experienced Java developer to play a key role in the evolution and operation of our Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) platform. You’ll join the Digital Experience Foundations team, a cross-sector centre of expertise that supports digital projects for members and clients. As a technical expert on the AEM squad, you’ll actively contribute to developing and maintaining the AEM ecosystem and its tools and components in order to enhance required applications. You’ll work in a dynamic and stimulating environment using the Scaled Agile Framework, and you’ll collaborate with managers, architects, developers and other IT professionals. This position provides an opportunity to build modern, secure and high-performance IT solutions while taking part in a major transformation at a recognized cooperative leader in Canada. More specifically, you will be required to:

  • Take part in developing software products, including design, coding, testing and operations, while applying best practices in development, data management and security.

  • Help create, develop and maintain the environments required for solutions to run smoothly.

  • Provide operational support for the platform, including monitoring, alert management and incident resolution.

  • Document technical solutions and practices used to ensure product sustainability, while meeting quality, security and compliance standards.

  • Stay on top of technology trends and share best practices and development approaches with the team.

  • Analyze system components, change requests and technical issues to propose appropriate solutions.

  • Help coordinate, implement and roll out software products in different environments.

  • Provide technical support for day-to-day IT operations and follow up on issues with relevant stakeholders.

What you bring to the table

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or in a related field

  • A minimum of four years of relevant experience

  • Experience implementing and configuring SaaS-based software packages

  • Experience with AEM as a Cloud Service and/or Adobe AEM 6.5

  • Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered

  • Knowledge of French is required

  • Knowledge of Java web programming (J2EE, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3)
