Job Duties and Responsibilities
The IT Technician position works 100% onsite and handles all technical related incidents/escalations reported by our dynamic employee workforce and is responsible for troubleshooting, solving complex issues, and providing exceptional customer support within standard and non-standard use cases. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of IT infrastructure and operations best practices, including network infrastructure, Wireless/LAN connections, VPN, proxy/firewalls methodologies, OS upgrades/patching, printers and end-user computer hardware/software.

- Troubleshoot software, hardware, and networking issues using strong problem-solving skills, including active listening, analysis, and decision-making
- Assist employees with hardware and software setup, configuration, recovery, and ongoing usability
- Provide a "one-contact resolution" approach for both simple and complex technical issues, primarily in person but also via phone or video chat
- Support device operating system upgrades and patching to maintain enterprise system integrity and ensure critical application availability
- Demonstrate expert-level knowledge of Windows 10/11, macOS, Google Workspace, Active Directory, iOS, Android, and Microsoft Office
- Perform physical IT tasks, cultivate cross-functional relationships, conduct audits, analyze processes for improvements, and lead training sessions or meetings
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 2+ years experience supporting infrastructure operations in an enterprise environment and seen as the go-to expert in an area of specialization

- Communicate effectively through excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
