About You

AppDirect is seeking a detail-oriented and organized IT Procurement Coordinator to join our growing IT organization. We are looking for an enthusiastic team player who will support IT procurement activities and collaborate with various teams including Finance, Legal, InfoSec, and business units. You enjoy organizing data, tracking details, and helping the team stay on top of important deadlines and processes.

This role provides an excellent foundation for growing your career in IT procurement, vendor management, or IT operations. You'll gain exposure to enterprise software contracts, develop negotiation skills, and build relationships across the organization. We provide mentorship and training to help you advance your career at AppDirect.

What you'll do and how you'll have an impact

  • Maintain an inventory of all IT contracts across the organization, along with relevant details (annual value, renewal dates, key contacts, etc.);
  • Prepare a schedule for renewal of all key contracts;
  • Help coordinate vendor communications and support contract negotiation processes;
  • Ensure AppDirect and the suppliers meet their contractual obligations;
  • Participate in the annual IT budget process, and lead the quarterly reconciliation to ensure IT leaders’ budgets are on track;
  • Support invoice processing and purchase order creation;
  • Help document and improve IT procurement processes and procedures;
  • Maintain procurement tracking spreadsheets and basic reporting;
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements for new purchases.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience);
  • 0-2 years of experience in an procurement, or finance support role (internships and co-op experience welcome);
  • Fresh graduates with relevant coursework and internship experience are encouraged to apply;
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail;
  • Good analytical abilities - able to work with data and create basic reports;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets for data tracking and management;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills;
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines;
  • Proactive attitude with willingness to learn and grow;
  • Team player who can work collaboratively across departments;
  • Basic understanding of procurement or contract management processes (an asset);
  • Experience with any ERP or procurement tools (an asset but not required).
