Job Description:

Our Individual operations associate supports Life Insurance, Health insurance, and Guaranteed Savings and Retirement products.  In this role, you will positively impact the lives of our Clients and Advisors by providing accurate and timely tax reporting and calculations.  You will also focus on processing unique requests as well as proactively managing our system controls.

What you will do  

  • Develop knowledge of our products and systems to understand the nuances to consider and what to look out for when processing requests and handling controls.

  • Learn complex tax rules and their implications to our products and procedures.

  • Calculate policy tax values and deliver requests accurately, while maintaining various systems up to date and continuously identify opportunities to improve our processes.

  • Leverage your customer service skills to provide exceptional service to our Clients and Advisors, both in verbal and written communication 

  • Use your attention to detail and time management skills to deliver requests accurately and efficiently.

  • Participate a rotational phone schedule to ensure coverage from 8am to 5pm.

  • As this position is posted in several locations, we specify that bilingualism (French, English, both oral and written) is required for Quebec only for the frequent interactions with English and French-speaking colleagues or internal partners across Canada or worldwide.

The Base Pay range is for the primary location for which the job is posted. It may vary depending on the work location of the successful candidate or other factors. In addition to Base Pay, eligible Sun Life employees participate in various incentive plans, payment under which is discretionary and subject to individual and company performance. Certain sales focused roles have sales incentive plans based on individual or group sales results.
