What you’ll accomplish with us
As an Investigative Advisor – Investigative Services, you’ll be at the core of our mission. Here are the main responsibilities:
Review referrals and information from internal and external sources regarding suspected fraud, abuse, or irregularities in health and dental claims.
Analyze alerts generated by fraud detection tools by performing in‑depth analyses and independently exploring data to identify suspicious patterns and potentially fraudulent activities, adapting investigative efforts based on risk, financial exposure, and value added.
Conduct thorough, objective investigations by collecting and validating evidence from plan members, service providers, internal systems, and other relevant sources.
Clearly document findings, formulate recommendations, and prepare structured, well‑supported investigation and client reports.
Collaborate closely with analytics teams to enhance alert quality and improve detection rules, scenarios, and parameters based on field insights.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of investigation processes, tools, and best practices.
Ensure rigorous, professional follow‑up on escalated or complex cases.
Promote fraud prevention through awareness initiatives and strategic recommendations to internal and external partners.
Stay current on emerging fraud trends, schemes, and industry best practices.
What could accelerate your success in this role
We’re looking for someone who:
Holds a university degree in a relevant field such as criminology, finance, actuarial science, accounting, or another related discipline.
Has 3 to 5 years of experience in investigation, auditing, insurance, healthcare, or financial services.
Demonstrates strong analytical and technical capabilities, including data analysis, transaction review, comfort with analytical tools, and exposure or curiosity toward the professional use of generative artificial intelligence in analytical or process‑improvement contexts.
Is recognized for their professional judgment, autonomy, initiative, and adaptability, with the ability to navigate ambiguity, manage multiple investigations simultaneously, communicate effectively in difficult situations, and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Charter of the French language clause: Advanced level of English proficiency is required, as the role involves preparing investigation reports, analyzing documentation, and collaborating regularly with English‑speaking internal and external stakeholders.

The typical hiring range for this position is between 65 371 $ et 115 371 $ CAD per year; the base salary offered may vary depending on knowledge, skills, years of experience, and internal equity related to the role.
