Desjardins is a top employer that’s committed to the next generation of IT professionals. There are several internship positions available. More specifically, you will be required to :

Scrum master intern

  • Support your team in their appraisal and planning, while making sure that any roadblocks to delivering value are eliminated or avoided.

Project management intern

  • Support all aspects of project delivery up to final closure, and make sure deliverables are approved.

ETL intern 

  • Design, develop, automate and support complex applications to extract, transform and load data.

Business intelligence intern

  • Design, create and set up reports, dashboards and performance indicators to support strategic decision-making.

Operations systems analysis intern

  • Implement infrastructure based on architecture specifications and operational standards.

Development intern

  • Actively participate in developing the execution strategy, analysis and design, coding, testing and documentation of programs and/or applications.

Data engineering intern

  • Help collect, integrate, consolidate, clean, store and mine data flows.

  • Help develop, maintain, support and run computer applications and data pipelines, while ensuring the functional analysis, IT design, coding, fine-tuning and documentation.

Business administration intern

  • Analyze issues related to your field.

  • Conduct research and preliminary analysis.

  • Develop the initial outlines of tools and processes.

  • Draw on your comprehensive knowledge of the line of business.

  • Assist clients and partners.

IT governance and compliance intern

  • Help develop IT governance and compliance approaches.

  • Document several internal processes and procedures related to risk and compliance practices.

  • Ensure the quality of evidence related to general IT controls and follow up with compliance officers.

  • Ensure certain files are handled.

Cybersecurity intern 

  • Actively contribute to and participate in processes to detect and handle threats and vulnerabilities

  • Contributing to and actively participating in the implementation of cyber defence tools

  • Documentation and sharing of information security and cyber defence best practices

  • Monitoring trends in cyberattacks

  • Drafting technical documents

Quality assurance intern

  • Actively participate in quality assurance tests, identifying test scenarios (unit, functional, system, non-regression), implementing the environment, carrying out scenarios and communicating results.

What you bring to the table

  • Your educational institution must credit or certify your internship toward a bachelor's degree or a master's degree in an appropriate discipline

  • Relevant work/internship experience

  • Knowledge of French is required
