International funds transfers are undergoing a major shift. The industry is moving toward instant rails, open APIs and systems that can trace every movement of funds in real time. These changes are reinforced by regulatory initiatives such as RTR, GPI and ISO 20022, which promise greater speed, transparency and seamless integration in digital journeys. As the international payments product manager, you will join the Payments Product Management Department and help transform and modernize our payment ecosystem in step with these industry developments. Your role is to understand the impact of these initiatives on the ecosystem, on members and clients, and on Desjardins. You’ll be asked to collaborate on various projects and position key requirements to ensure they align with our members’ needs and the organization’s business objectives. More specifically, you will be required to:

Identify and make improvements to the product offer based on member and client needs, business priorities and market developments for multidisciplinary strategic initiatives
Monitor the competition and market developments, identify opportunities to enhance our offer, anticipate business impacts and develop and implement strategies to maximize Desjardins’s competitive position
Lead the definition of product directions and represent the target client experience for the value-added services offered by the product line
Monitor the product line’s results and financial performance to target opportunities and establish approaches to optimize the offer. Establish strategic recommendations and an action plan to meet business objectives and maximize growth and profitability
Perform sound management of the operational, reputational and financial risks associated with the product offer and develop recommendations that could lead to a business position
Establish and develop frameworks to make sure that the product line complies with laws and regulations and make recommendations to decision-making bodies
