We are seeking a highly experienced International Consultant to join our team based in our Montreal office.
In this role, you will coordinate and manage global consulting activities, delivering client-ready results and supporting senior consultants on Total Rewards strategies, and global benefits analysis. You will contribute to developing client strategies, interpret benchmark data, and ensure the successful completion of complex cross-border and cross-functional projects, while managing project timelines and quality. Additionally, you will liaise with international teams to provide clear, technical communications and ensure compliance with professional standards.
This is a hybrid role that requires being in the office 3 days a week.
We will count on you to:
- Coordinate and manage the activities of consultants globally, ensuring delivery of client-ready results and communications for review by senior international consultants.
- Perform global total rewards and benefits inventories for multinational clients, benchmark against industry standards, and provide initial recommendations for review.
- Support senior international consultants in Total Rewards strategies, competitive benefits analysis, and benefits for start-up operations.
- Collaborate as part of the consulting team to develop overall client strategies, interpret and present benchmark data, and ensure implementation of plan and program changes aligned with client objectives.
- Demonstrate strong project management skills by managing the quality, timeliness, and delegation of deliverables, including reviewing work of junior colleagues.
- Manage internal specialty resources to meet client goals and deadlines, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
- Assist in the preparation and completion of peer review processes and deliver clear, concise, client-friendly communications.
- Ensure compliance with professional standards, including use of templates, client calendars, peer review protocols, and transparency requirements.
- Liaise with international consultants to draft responses to client inquiries on non-US retirement and benefit issues, delivering client-ready communications on technical subjects after senior review.
What you need to have
- 8 to 12 years of relevant consulting experience with international exposure.
- Experience working with multinational clients is a strong asset.
- Ability to support retirement and global benefits design, funding strategy, and gap analysis.
- Strong project management and communication skills.
- Commitment to compliance with professional standards and quality assurance.
- Ability to draft clear and technical client communications.
