Do you go above and beyond to deliver value? The Hosting and Cloud Platform Administrative Department currently has an opportunity for you. Desjardins is committed to a shift to cloud computing, and your contribution will be essential to improve and maintain the stability of the Azure infrastructure to support the developer teams that use cloud computing. You’ll play an active role in major transformation initiatives and in maintaining the stability of systems that are critical to the organization. As part of our DevSecOps multidisciplinary team, which works in agile squad mode, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the success of automated rollouts, platform developments, security posture enhancements and operations related to infrastructure components. You’ll diagnose issues, correct potential vulnerabilities, optimize costs and quickly learn internal processes to maximize the delivered value. In this role, you’ll need to be highly skilled at clearly explaining risks and issues and proposing clear and effective action plans. You’ll be asked to work quickly and independently, and to identify the impacts of maintenance and upgrades to mitigate risks and maintain platform stability. You’ll also help coordinate and operate infrastructures in Azure while maintaining a balancing between value, stability, compliance and industry best practices. More specifically, you will be required to:
Deliver on acceptance criteria and ensure that issues are tracked properly based on the product owner’s backlog prioritization.
Strike a balance between delivering value, achieving stability, meeting Desjardins requirements and industry best practices.
Act as a subject matter expert in Azure infrastructure operations for business lines with varying levels of cloud expertise.
Monitor the industry to make recommendations diligently to ensure best practices.
Provide ad-hoc support to our partners to help them implement their application solution, if needed.
Encourage the development of products and services, in accordance with Desjardins security standards.
Make sure that the documentation is developed to be usable by peers or IT consumers.
