Integration Services Manager (webMethods, Mulesoft) Remote worker opening
Job Description
BAE Systems is seeking a skilled and experienced manager to lead a high-performance Integration Services team. The ideal candidate will be primarily responsible for the architecture, development, maintenance and support for the Enterprise Service Platform (ESP). The role includes building the Enterprise integration strategy based on principles of reusability, security, scalability and quality leveraging the webMethods and/or Mulesoft Platform.
Responsibilities Include:
- Own and design the implementation practices to deliver scalable integration solutions handling large volumes of data leveraging webMethods and/or MuleSoft technology
- Champion the adoption of citizen development to speed up development time, reduce the burden on the core Integration team and increase business agility
- Implement governance for the Integration platform including the establishment of a comprehensive framework for roles/responsibilities, standards for data quality, documenting processes, monitoring system performance
- Collaborate with senior IT and business leaders to ensure that ongoing enterprise integration capabilities are aligned with the organization's strategic goals.
- Maintain and apply current knowledge of information technology; keep abreast of new and emerging technologies and help determine if they can be used to add value to the business.
- Lead, mentor and energize high performance Integration Services Administrators and Developers across geographies to manage the large, complex mission critical Enterprise Service Platform
- Identify resourcing and lead the technical team through multi-phased delivery projects and provide hands-on delivery guidance to influence standards for development, governance, and operational life cycles
- Provide guidance to the Integration team define/refine the data integration design/coding/deployment/operational standards and technology stack.
- Partner with Application teams, Shared services, core technology peers and the vendors in design, development, implementation and operational support of Mulesoft and webMethods technology solutions.
- Participate with the IT management team in planning Production rollouts, ensuring all production outages are planned and coordinated with applicable parties, and downtime is minimized.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Proven experience in managing a Tier 3 or similar technical operations team
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex problems, propose practical solutions, and manage incidents
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational, time management, communication, presentation, and customer relationship skills
- Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of technical program management experience, with a total of 15+ years in IT.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Previous success in developing standards, process improvement, and managing processes
- Strong learning capacity for software tools and technologies
- Experience with API development and data integration
- Experience and understanding of the complete API lifecycle.
- Extensive experience with vendor management
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $120000 - $204000
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
