Hitachi Énergie recherche un Ingénieur Mécanique pour notre HUB en Amérique du Nord, basé à Varennes, Québec, Canada. Ce rôle offre une occasion unique d'apprendre le processus de conception d'ingénierie de bout en bout pour soutenir notre usine de fabrication. Vous acquerrez une expérience approfondie et expérientielle dans divers aspects de l'ingénierie, y compris la conception personnalisée par rapport à la conception standardisée, la conception en fonction de la valeur, l'optimisation des coûts des produits, et bien plus encore. Comment vous allez faire la différence

  • Effectuer des calculs de résistance des matériaux pour les différents éléments des transformateurs de grande puissance par analyse par éléments finis.

  • Compléter des rapports sur la performance des transformateurs soumis aux charges environnementales.

  • Dimensionner les connexions soudées et boulonnées des accessoires des transformateurs.

  • Soutenir les nouveaux projets de conception de transformateurs par l'équipe de génie mécanique.

  • Assister la production pour les questions concernant les efforts mécaniques des sous-composants des transformateurs.

  • Travailler sur des projets d'optimisation concernant la résistance des matériaux.

  • Soutenir le département de génie industriel lors de la conception d'outils pour la fabrication des transformateurs de grande puissance.

Votre profil

  • Baccalauréat en Génie Mécanique.

  • Minimum de 5 ans d'expérience dans un domaine pertinent.

  • Maîtrise d'un environnement CAO (PTC Creo, SolidWorks, etc.).

  • Expérience en analyse par éléments finis (ANSYS).

  • Expérience en conception et fabrication d'éléments mécano-soudés.

  • Membre de l'Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ).

  • Bilingue (Français et Anglais).

  • Compétences démontrées : Agile, orienté résultats, travail d'équipe, créatif et autonome.

The Opportunity

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for our North America HUB, based in Varennes, Quebec, Canada. How You'll Make an Impact

  • Perform material strength calculations for various elements of high-power transformers using finite element analysis.

  • Complete reports on transformer performance under environmental loads.

  • Dimension welded and bolted connections for transformer accessories.

  • Support new transformer design projects by the mechanical engineering team.

  • Assist production with mechanical effort queries for transformer subcomponents.

  • Work on optimization projects concerning material strength.

  • Support the industrial engineering department in designing tools for manufacturing high-power transformers.

Your Background

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

  • Proficiency in CAD environments (PTC Creo, SolidWorks, etc.).

  • Experience with finite element analysis (ANSYS).

  • Experience in the design and fabrication of welded mechanical elements.

  • Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ).

  • Bilingual (French and English).

  • Demonstrated skills: Agile, results-oriented, team player, creative, and autonomous.
