The Geotechnical team brings together more than 80 employees who, in recent years, have contributed to major projects such as the Réseau express métropolitain (REM), the Samuel De Champlain Bridge, and the development of Quebec’s battery industry.
Your roleBe responsible for carrying out geotechnical study projects of various scales.
Supervise and train junior and intermediate engineers.
Participate in the administrative management of projects and associated personnel.
Prepare proposals for professional services.
Review and perform geotechnical engineering calculations (bearing capacity, settlements, slope stability, pavement, soil liquefaction, numerical modeling, etc.).
Review technical reports and draft them when necessary.
Collaborate actively with other departments to maintain existing synergy.
Bachelor’s degree in civil, geological, mining engineering, or another relevant field.
Master’s or Ph.D. in geotechnics is an asset.
More than 15 years of relevant experience in the field.
Possess an ASP Construction card.
Hold a valid driver’s license.
Excellent spoken and written French.
Proficiency in English.
Ability to work independently.
Good knowledge of MS Office Suite and software commonly used in geotechnics.
