Nous recherchons un(e) ingénieur(e) d’applications qui jouera un rôle clé en fournissant un soutien technique aux équipes de vente et aux partenaires externes, notamment les ingénieurs-conseils, entrepreneurs, distributeurs et utilisateurs finaux.

Vos principales responsabilités:

  • Fournir un soutien technique aux ventes aux ingénieurs-conseils, entrepreneurs, distributeurs et équipes de vente internes.
  • Examiner les plans et devis, réaliser des analyses de systèmes hydrauliques et recommander les équipements appropriés.
  • Soutenir la préparation de soumissions, propositions techniques et documents de projet pour des projets municipaux et industriels.
  • Collaborer avec les équipes de ventes, service à la clientèle, gestion de projet et fabrication afin d’assurer la conformité aux exigences et aux échéanciers des projets.
  • Donner des présentations techniques, formations et séminaires (lunch-and-learn, événements clients, salons professionnels).
  • Fournir un soutien technique sur le terrain, incluant le dépannage et les visites de sites lorsque requis.
  • Préparer des dessins techniques, concepts et dimensionnement d’équipements pour soutenir l’exécution des projets.
  • Gérer de petits projets techniques et contribuer à des projets plus importants impliquant plusieurs équipes.

Votre profil:

  • Baccalauréat en génie civil, mécanique, environnemental ou chimique (ou discipline connexe)
  • 3+ années d’expérience dans le domaine de l’eau / des eaux usées ou dans un domaine d’ingénierie connexe
  • Bilingue français et anglais
  • Membre d’un ordre ou d’une association professionnelle d’ingénieurs
  • Capacité à interpréter des plans, dessins techniques et spécifications d’ingénierie
  • Excellentes compétences en analyse, résolution de problèmes et communication
  • Expérience de collaboration avec clients, entrepreneurs ou ingénieurs-conseils
  • Maîtrise de Microsoft Office et d’outils CRM

Atouts:

  • Expérience avec les processus d’appels d’offres municipaux
  • Expérience avec AutoCAD ou des outils de conception similaires
  • Certification Lean / Green Belt
  • Expérience avec Salesforce ou une plateforme CRM similaire

The Role

This role works at the intersection of engineering, customer engagement, and sales, partnering with consulting engineers, contractors, distributors, and internal teams to design and deliver effective water and wastewater solutions.

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide technical sales support to consulting engineers, contractors, distributors, and internal sales teams.
  • Review plans and specifications, perform hydraulic system analysis, and recommend appropriate equipment solutions.
  • Support bids, proposals, submittals, and technical documentation for municipal and industrial projects.
  • Coordinate with sales, customer service, project management, and manufacturing to ensure project requirements and timelines are met.
  • Deliver technical presentations, lunch-and-learns, and seminars for customers and engineering partners.
  • Provide field engineering support, including troubleshooting and site visits when needed.
  • Prepare drawings, conceptual designs, and equipment sizing to support project execution.
  • Manage smaller technical projects and assist with large multi-department initiatives.

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering (or related engineering discipline)
  • 3+ years of experience in the water/wastewater industry or a related engineering field
  • Bilingual in French and English
  • Membership in an Association of Professional Engineers
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and system designs
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Experience working with customers, contractors, or consulting engineers
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with municipal bidding or tendering processes
  • Experience with AutoCAD or similar design tools
  • Green Belt certification or familiarity with continuous improvement methods
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms
  • Hands-on experience with controls, electrical panels, or mechanical equipment
