We are seeking an IT Support Intern to provide technical assistance and contribute to the maintenance of IT systems and user equipment. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in troubleshooting, user support, and IT operations in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
· Provide first-line technical support for hardware, software, and IT systems, responding to user inquiries in person or by phone.
· Analyze, prioritize, and resolve or escalate service requests and incidents.
· Track and document support interactions, including issues and solutions.
· Set up and maintain user workstations, including hardware installation, software deployment, and regular updates.
· Assist with onboarding by preparing and configuring equipment and tools for new users.
· Support the deployment of new software, tools, and IT equipment.
· Collaborate on IT projects and share new troubleshooting methods with the team.
· The role involves daily (or regular) communication with pan-Canadian stakeholders.
Qualifications
· Currently enrolled in a CEGEP program in information technology, computer science, or related program.
· Strong interest in IT support and technology.
· Familiarity with remote access tools, including TeamViewer, GoToAssist and ITSM platforms, including Jira and Remedy, is an asset.
· Experience with PC and Apple hardware.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, including Teams.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a client-focused approach.
· Organized, autonomous, and collaborative mindset.
