As an Implementation Consultant, you will ensure that our retailers successfully complete their onboarding journey and get the most out of our product, through training, guidance and sharing best practices for Lightspeed's X-series, retail product to maximize customer retention and overall customer experience.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Train and guide a set cohort of retailers to ensure they successfully adopt and implement our platform
  • Consistently achieve onboarding targets, KPIs and deadlines for retailer go-live dates
  • Work with the retailer to understand their needs and ensure their workflows are set up for success, including guidance on best practice workflows
  • Ensure each retailer in your cohort has their product and customer data correctly set up 
  • Stay up to date with the product and retail best practices
  • Identify upgrade opportunities for payments, third-party add-ons and plan upgrades
  • Documenting feedback to Product, Sales, and Operations to ensure we continuously improve our onboarding experience

What you need to bring:

We’re a team of 15 people located globally 

We're looking for a candidate who has experience with the following:

  • Previous experience in a customer success or onboarding role
  • Strong communication skills in both English and French, including verbal and written proficiency
  • Self-starter that seeks to identify and improve processes
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Exceptional communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills

Even better if you have, but not necessary:

  • Deep technical knowledge of the retail industry and retail commerce tools 
  • E-commerce experience
  • Sales experience
  • Intermediate Google Sheets or MS Excel skills
