We are seeking an IDC Compliance Intern to support Independent Delivery Contractor compliance and help ensure adherence to legal and regulatory standards. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in compliance monitoring, cross-functional collaboration, and ethical business practices.
Responsibilities
· Maintain organized records of compliance-related materials, including policies, procedures, training content, and audit documentation.
· Support internal and external audits by coordinating with audit teams, tracking findings, and assisting with corrective actions.
· Prepare reports on compliance activities and key metrics, identifying potential risks.
· Assist in assessing compliance risks and collaborating with departments on mitigation strategies.
· Contribute to investigations of compliance issues under the Compliance Manager’s direction.
· Support the development and rollout of compliance policies, procedures, and employee training.
· Stay current on relevant regulations and industry standards and help ensure organizational adherence.
· Foster a culture of compliance through communication and awareness initiatives.
· The role involves daily (or regular) communication with pan-Canadian stakeholders.
Qualifications
· Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in business, finance, legal studies, or a related field.
· Interest in compliance, including regulatory and legal affairs
· Understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards is a plus.
· Proactive, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
· Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
· Strong communication skills, with the ability to build strong professional relationships
