We are seeking a Human Resources Intern to support initiatives that enhance team management, employee relations, and workplace compliance. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in performance management, policy development, and health and safety within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Support managers in, employee relations, team management and performance development to foster a positive work environment.
Assist in implementing HR policies, procedures, and organizational strategies.
Contribute to managing internal employee movements, including transfers and promotions.
Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and working conditions.
Help manage employee performance and attendance, including data collection and reporting.
Support workplace safety initiatives and maintain accident records for audits.
Promote employee experience through engagement initiatives and programs.
Generate and analyze HR performance reports and indicators.
The role involves daily (or regular) communication with pan-Canadian stakeholders.
Qualifications
Currently enrolled in the 3rd or 4th year of a bachelor’s degree in human resources management or industrial relations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and SharePoint
Knowledge of human resources management systems, including Workday, is an asset
Ability to work on-site.
Strong teamwork skills, initiative, and flexibility.
