Our flagship product, the dcbel Home Energy Station, is a small wall mounted device that gives everyone ownership over their energy supply by using solar power to charge their EV and home, unlocking their EV’s battery for backup power (V2H), and optimizing the energy flow between their solar panels, EVs, backup battery and the grid.

The opportunity

dcbel is looking to hire an HR Coordinator that will work hand in hand with the Head of HR, ensuring the smooth operation of our human resources functions with state-of-the-art AI tools. You’ll be the bridge between departments, employees, and leadership, supporting both strategic initiatives and day-to-day HR activities.

Main responsibilities

• Organizational Structure & Development: Maintain and update employee information in our HRIS (BambooHR), organizational documents , policies and reports. Serve as a primary point of contact for employee requests and inquiries, ensuring timely and accurate support across HR-related matters.
• Talent Acquisition: Craft inviting job postings that align with our business needs, work with hiring managers during the recruitment process on a need’s basis and collaborate with external recruiters.
• Employee Onboarding: Generate offers letters/employment contracts, conduct background checks, and ensure a smooth and positive onboarding experience for new hires.
• Training & Development: Help organize group and individual training sessions based on development needs, generate surveys, and support career development initiatives. Keep accurate record of training expenses for year-end reporting.
• Performance Reviews: Support management in the performance review process.
• Payroll & Benefits: Support payroll processing on a bi-weekly basis and manage group benefits.
• Employee Engagement: Communicate company news, organize activities to promote culture and engagement

Key requirements

• University degree in Human resources, Business Administration or related fields.
• 2-3 years of experience in a Human resources position (recruitment, HR admin, etc.) is preferred
• CRHA, CHRP or SHRM certification will be considered an asset

Bonus skills

• Bilingual English and French written and spoken.
