Anyon Systems is a quantum computing company located in the Greater Montreal Region and with a presence in Waterloo, Ontario. We work at the cutting edge of technology to develop and commercialize superconducting quantum computers. The company is growing rapidly and has both hardware and software groups to achieve its R&D goals.
We are hiring a high-performance computing developer to participate in the development of modern quantum simulation toolchains. You will work in close collaboration with a multidisciplinary team of scientists and researchers to create reliable and efficient simulation tools. The developed tools will be used to simulate the many-body quantum systems at the heart of a quantum processor and will be an integral part of the R&D workflow for the design of next-generation superconducting quantum computers. The work will touch on various physical phenomena, multi-scale methodologies, and distributed computing. The ideal candidate for this role is familiar with numerical methods for physics, has a proven research background, and is eager to learn new concepts and tools at the forefront of science and engineering.
