We are looking for a Guidewire Functional Analyst to join our digital transformation team in the insurance sector. The successful candidate will play a key role in analyzing business needs, designing solutions, and optimizing processes using the Guidewire platform (PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and/or BillingCenter).

 

You will work closely with business stakeholders, architects, developers, and quality assurance teams to deliver high-performing solutions that meet customer needs.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze, document, and validate business requirements.
  • Facilitate requirements gathering workshops with users and stakeholders.
  • Write functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Design functional solutions aligned with Guidewire capabilities.
  • Participate in the configuration and evolution of Guidewire modules (PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, or BillingCenter).
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure a shared understanding of requirements.
  • Perform impact analyses and recommend best practices.
  • Support functional testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and deployment activities.
  • Ensure traceability between business needs, functional requirements, and deliverables.
  • Participate in Agile activities (refinement, planning, demonstration, retrospective).

Requirements

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in functional analysis.
  • Significant experience with the Guidewire platform. Excellent knowledge of at least one of the following modules:
  • Guidewire PolicyCenter
  • Guidewire ClaimCenter
  • Guidewire BillingCenter
  • Experience in the property and casualty insurance industry.
  • Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience in writing functional documentation.
  • Strong communication and workshop facilitation skills.


Assets:
  • Guidewire Certification.
  • Experience with Guidewire Cloud.
  • Knowledge of REST/SOA API integrations.
  • Experience in migration or digital transformation within the insurance sector.
  • Knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, and Azure DevOps.
