Client is seeking a Guidewire Analyst to support the
stabilization and evolution of a solution already in production in the
commercial insurance sector.
The role focuses on post-deployment: analyzing non-blocking
bugs, functional adjustments, and enhancement requests, with continuous
prioritization of bug fixes and technical debt. The ideal candidate will write
user stories, requirements, and specifications, document impacts, and ensure
alignment between business partners and the development, architecture, and
quality assurance teams.
This is neither a coordination nor a project management
role: the client expects someone who produces concrete functional analysis and
clarifies requirements in an Agile context. Knowledge of property and casualty
insurance, particularly commercial insurance, will be a deciding factor.
Requirement
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst in
development or enhancement projects
- Functional analysis and writing of user stories,
requirements, and detailed specifications
- Management and prioritization of defect, enhancement, and
technical debt tickets
- Analysis of complex issues, documentation of impacts, and
recommendation of solutions
- Experience in an Agile environment (Scrum or Kanban)
- Communication, workshop facilitation, and stakeholder
management
- Collaboration with developers, architects, quality assurance
specialists, and business partners
- Autonomy, attention to detail, and strong synthesis skills
- Understanding of Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance
processes, particularly commercial insurance
- Knowledge of Guidewire (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, or
ClaimCenter)
Requirements
WHAT WE DON'T WANT
- Purely business analyst with no experience in IT development
or upgrade projects.
- Project coordination or management profile without producing
functional analysis and specifications.
- Candidate with no experience in an Agile, Scrum, or Kanban
environment.
- Developer or architect aiming for a technical implementation
role rather than an analysis role.
- Quality analyst or tester whose experience is limited to
quality assurance without functional analysis.
