Drive Qompyl’s growth from beta through launch by managing acquisition funnels, organic and paid channels, lifecycle programs, experimentation, analytics, community, referrals, and partnerships. Identify performance gaps, optimize conversion and retention, and provide actionable recommendations. The role requires financial-markets fluency to market effectively to self-directed traders and investors, plus hands-on execution in an early-stage environment.
## ABOUT US
Qompyl is building a mobile-first, no-code trading strategy platform designed to help self-directed traders turn investment ideas into testable, data-driven strategies. Our mission is to make sophisticated strategy-building tools more accessible, intuitive, and useful for everyday investors and traders.
## THE ROLE
We are seeking a **Growth Marketing Manager** to help Qompyl move from beta through commercial launch and early scale.
This person will translate Qompyl’s broader growth strategy into measurable acquisition plans, channel priorities, experiments, and funnel improvements across organic, paid, lifecycle, community, referral, and partnership-supported marketing.
This is a hands-on role for someone who is comfortable both **setting direction and doing the work**. The right candidate will not simply report marketing activity - they will evaluate whether it is producing enough momentum, identify problems early, and recommend and execute solutions.
Because Qompyl serves self-directed traders and investors, this role also requires enough **financial-markets and trading fluency** to understand our users, contribute meaningfully to marketing and product storytelling, and engage credibly with trader and fintech communities.
## RESPONSIBILITIES
### Growth Strategy & Funnel Management
- Translate company acquisition goals into channel, campaign, and funnel targets.
- Manage the marketing funnel from awareness → traffic → leads → trials → activation → retained users.
- Monitor performance against acquisition assumptions, benchmarks, and launch objectives.
- Identify where funnel momentum is insufficient and recommend corrective action.
- Help forecast the contribution required from organic, paid, referral, community, creator, and lifecycle channels.
### Channel Growth & Acquisition
- Develop and optimize acquisition strategies across organic social, paid media, content, community, email, creators, referrals, and emerging channels.
- Determine which audiences, channels, offers, and messages warrant increased or decreased investment.
- Build paid acquisition, retargeting, and high-intent audience programs as budget becomes available.
- Partner with the Marketing Coordinator/Strategist to ensure content and community execution support growth priorities.
### Experimentation & Optimization
- Maintain a prioritized pipeline of growth experiments.
- Test audiences, messages, creative concepts, CTAs, landing pages, offers, channels, and conversion paths.
- Define hypotheses and success criteria before testing.
- Analyze results and quickly translate learnings into the next action.
- Increase experimentation velocity when performance is not sufficient.
### Analytics, Reporting & Early Warning
- Establish clear weekly reporting focused on business outcomes rather than activity or vanity metrics alone.
- Track acquisition, conversion, activation, retention, CAC, and channel contribution as appropriate.
- Distinguish between positive incremental progress and performance sufficient to meet business goals.
- Proactively surface risks, underperformance, capacity constraints, or missing capabilities.
- Bring leadership recommendations - not just numbers - when results are off trajectory.
### Lifecycle, Community & Cross-Functional Growth
- Help develop onboarding, nurture, re-engagement, retention, and referral programs.
- Partner with Product and UX to identify adoption and conversion barriers.
- Incorporate beta feedback, customer research, and market insights into growth priorities.
- Contribute knowledgeable perspective to trading/investing content, campaigns, and community conversations.
- Support creator, community, partnership, and business-development initiatives where they contribute to acquisition.
## REQUIRED SKILLS
- 5+ years of experience in growth marketing, performance marketing, digital acquisition, lifecycle marketing, or a related role.
- Demonstrated experience managing measurable acquisition or conversion funnels.
- Strong understanding of funnel analytics, experimentation, conversion, attribution, CAC, and retention.
- Experience across both organic and paid acquisition channels.
- **Demonstrated fluency in financial markets, investing, or trading concepts sufficient to understand Qompyl’s users, contribute meaningfully to marketing content, and engage credibly with trader and fintech communities.**
- Familiarity with concepts such as technical analysis, trading strategies, entry/exit logic, backtesting, risk/reward, drawdown, timeframes, and self-directed trader workflows.
- Ability to translate complex financial or trading concepts into clear, accessible customer messaging.
- Ability to translate data into clear recommendations and action.
- Comfortable working hands-on in an early-stage environment with limited resources and evolving systems.
- Strong judgment, curiosity, urgency, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to challenge assumptions and raise concerns when results are not progressing quickly enough.
- Excellent written, verbal, and cross-functional communication skills.
## STRONGLY PREFERRED
- Professional experience in **fintech, brokerage, trading/investing platforms, wealthtech, financial media or education, market-data products, or related financial technology**.
- Experience marketing to self-directed investors or active traders.
- CRM/lifecycle automation experience.
- Creator, affiliate, referral, or community-growth experience.
- SaaS, subscription, or mobile-app growth experience.
## 💡 Please Note - Equity-Only Structure
This is a part-time, equity-only role, suitable as a side engagement alongside a primary job or consulting work.
The position will transition to compensated status after the MVP launch and once funding or sustainable revenue is secured.
If you're excited about joining an early-stage mission-driven startup and helping build a next-generation trading platform, we’d love to hear from you.
