We’re looking for a Growth Manager to drive international student growth. In this role, you will ideate, design, and launch creative student campaigns, lead our student ambassador team, and obsess over week over week student growth.

Responsibilities 

  • Collaborate closely with our product, brand, design, social and community teams to ship and launch new features
  • Creating student specific content to engage, retain, and educate students around the world about Perplexity
  • Recruit, train, and empower Perplexity Campus Strategists to represent the brand authentically and effectively on campus
  • Driving on-campus partnerships, nurturing referral loops, and working with student organizations to build word-of-mouth on campus
  • Conduct market research to understand international student needs, behaviors, and trends.
  • Working with our social and paid marketing teams to test and iterate on student messaging

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience working at a fast-paced consumer technology company
  • Ownership mentality — you move fast and are willing to get your hands dirty. You’re motivated by aggressive timelines and thrive in a 0-to-1 environment
  • You’re a natural creative that can not only generate ideas, but also execute with precision and urgency
  • You have impeccable taste in positioning and making a novel technology accessible to the masses
  • You can influence product strategy via a thorough understanding of the customer and the competitive environment

The cash compensation range for this role is $140,000 - $190,000.

At Perplexity, we've experienced tremendous growth and adoption since publicly launching the world's first fully functional conversational answer engine in 2022. We've grown from answering 2.5 million questions per day at the start of 2024 to around 20 million daily queries in December 2024. We also offer Perplexity Enterprise Pro, which counts leading companies like Nvidia, the Cleveland Cavaliers, Bridgewater, and Zoom as customers.

To support our rapid expansion, we've raised significant funding from some of the most respected technology investors. Our investor base includes IVP, NEA, Jeff Bezos, NVIDIA, Databricks, Bessemer Venture Partners, Elad Gil, Nat Friedman, Daniel Gross, Naval Ravikant, Tobi Lutke, and many other visionary individuals. In 2024, our employee base grew nearly 300%, and we're just getting started.

Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including, experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.

 

Equity: In addition to the base salary, equity is part of the total compensation package.
