Staffbase is seeking a mid‑level Video & Multimedia Designer to join our Brand Design team in Marketing. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our Senior Video Producer to bring our SaaS brand to life through high‑quality video and multimedia content across campaigns, product storytelling, and customer communications.

In this role, you will interpret defined briefs, manage feedback cycles, and take a consulting role to support decision-making processes that impact the business. We value an experimental design approach and look for someone eager to test out refreshing ideas within our brand guidelines.

About the team

You’ll join our Brand Design team within Marketing, working alongside brand designers, Senior video producer, and marketers. You will report into Brand Design and collaborate daily with our Senior Video Producer, who will be your key creative partner on complex productions. Together, you’ll shape how our brand looks, feels, and sounds across video and multimedia touchpoints.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • End-to-End Ownership: Independently lead the production of complete video assets and product walkthroughs—from rough cuts to final mastering—ensuring high-quality storytelling and adherence to style guides.
  • Experimental Motion: Use After Effects to innovate new ways of visualizing our software, turning abstract concepts into digestible, high-quality animations.
  • Technical Consulting: Act as a "video authority" for your assigned projects, advising on the "how" of production (lighting, animation styles) while aligning on the "what" with senior leadership.
  • Production Agility: Manage the full lifecycle of a project—from shooting and directing talent to solving technical hurdles like audio salvaging or color correction without constant oversight.
  • Asset & Workflow Management: Maintain organized project files and libraries to enable faster versioning, and ensure all files follow naming conventions for seamless hand-offs.
What You Need to Be Successful
  • Professional Experience: 3+ years in video production or motion design, ideally within a B2B SaaS or agency environment.
  • Technical Mastery: Expert proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects; familiarity with Figma for digital collaboration is a strong plus.
  • Creative Consulting: Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical video concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Mindset: A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to how video tasks serve specific business functions like brand awareness or user adoption.

Plus: Production Fundamentals: Hands-on experience with professional camera, lighting, and audio equipment.

What you'll get

  • Competitive Compensation - we offer attractive salary packages including LTIP (unit-based Long Term Incentive Plan)
  • Flexibility - we offer flexible working time models and the option of hybrid work, and support this with a yearly flex work allowance of $2400
  • Recharge - with 31 vacation days annually (incl. one floating holiday), plus pro rata fully paid Fridays off during August
  • Wellbeing - Monthly Wellbeing Allowance $50, from fitness to mental health, hobbies to relaxation
  • Support - we’re offering a RRSP program with company match and health plans, including dental & vision. Parents can get 12 weeks of paid parental leave
  • Volunteer Day - you’ll get one day off per year for supporting a social project
