SUMMARY 

Join Storyteller’s account team as a Graduate Account Manager, where you will play a key role in nurturing client relationships and driving customer success. This role will own a portfolio of sports team clients, helping them get consistent day-to-day value from Storyteller while building strong relationships, driving adoption, and delivering commercial outcomes. 
Because you’ll be working closely with sports organisations every day, we’re specifically looking for candidates who genuinely love sport or have a strong interest in a particular sport.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Graduate Account Manager at Storyteller, you’ll be a key point of contact for your portfolio of clients, building strong relationships and ensuring they are successful with our platform. 
In time, you will be responsible for: 

  • Owning a portfolio of team / growth accounts and being the first person to respond to queries 
  • Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting client relationships 
  • Developing a deep understanding of your clients’ organisations, competitions and sports – and the outcomes they care about 
  • Running regular check-ins and helping clients plan content, campaigns and platform usage 
  • Monitoring client usage and identifying opportunities for expansion, as well as any risks to mitigate 
  • Preparing Quarterly Business Reviews with actionable recommendations, progress reports and account performance insights 
  • Owning actions and next steps for your accounts, keeping everything up to date in Airtable/CRM 
  • Working with Delivery and clients’ app vendors on any specific integration or upgrade projects 
  • Advocating for client feedback with the Product team and helping shape our roadmap 
  • Using AI to work faster and better (e.g., drafting emails/QBRs, summarising calls, analysing usage patterns, and maintaining account notes) 
  • Contributing to improvements in our account management processes and playbooks as we scale 
 

QUALIFICATIONS

What we’re looking for 

  • A real interest in the business side of sport (and ideally, a love of watching/following sport) 
  • Excellent school and university grades 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills 
  • A real interest in AI, technology and recent advancements 
  • Proactive attitude – you’re first on the scene grabbing hold of things 
  • High ownership mindset and strong attention to detail 
  • Comfort managing multiple clients and tasks simultaneously, with constant context-switching 
  • Experience communicating directly with customers (internships, part-time roles, volunteering, etc. all count) 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; bonus points if you’ve used Airtable or similar tools 
  • Reliable internet for remote work 

RECRUITMENT PROCESS 

  • Online video interview (short recorded answers to a mixture of questions) 

  • Follow-up exercise (compensated) to test skills relevant to this position 

  • Final interview with Andy (Chief Delivery Officer)
