This Position reports to:

Sales Support Manager
 

In this role, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining governance frameworks, managing contractual obligations, mitigating risks, and ensuring compliance across customer-facing and internal operations. This role acts as the central authority for Third-Party Management (TPM) processes and Service Level Agreements (SLA), ensuring operational integrity, contractual clarity, and regulatory compliance across ABB’s Smart Power and Smart Buildings divisions. You will also showcase your expertise by serving as a primary organizational contact during contract negotiations.

The role supports the: Electrification Smart Power & Smart Building divisions

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Facilitating cross-divisional collaboration to ensure alignment on project requirements, contractual terms, and governance standards.

  • Act as the primary liaison between Smart Power, Smart Buildings, and other ABB divisions to harmonize differing contractual conditions, mitigate risks, and maintain compliance with corporate policies while supporting timely project execution.

  • Ensure Compliance with ABB’s internal policies and external regulations (i.e. ISO, CSA, Cybersecurity standards, etc.). 

  • Own and Maintain the TPM Process, including documentation, workflows and training programs. 

  • Lead risk reviews for projects, new customer accounts, and frame agreements 

  • Maintain a risk review repository to ensure mitigation plans are tracked and executed 

  • Lead the development and execution of Master Supply Level Agreements (MSA) and Service Level Agreements (SLA) for internal and external stakeholders 

  • Support negotiations and review of proposal and technical support terms in distributor and partner contracts for commercial agreements.  

  • Track contract renewals, amendments, and performance obligations 

  • Collaborate with Master Data and Finance to ensure data profiles are accurate and aligned with ABB’s data governance standards. Validate and reconcile data discrepancies and update protocols 

Qualifications for the role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Law, Risk Management, Finance, or related field

  • 10+ years of experience in governance, risk management, compliance, or contract management within a multinational or industrial environment.

  • Strong financial background with experience in financial risk assessment and contract performance analysis.

  • Strong knowledge of ISO standards, cybersecurity frameworks, and regulatory compliance.

  • Proven experience in managing complex contracts and SLAs.

  • Proficiency in French is mandatory, as well as English in order to communicate effectively with internal clients and partners located outside of Quebec.

  • Proficiency in data governance tools and platforms (e.g., Salesforce, SharePoint).

  • Established analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
