Intelcom has set an ambitious target: achieving net zero carbon emissions by 2040. Delivering on this commitment requires internalizing greenhouse gas (GHG) analysis processes to support decision making.

We are seeking a GHG Data Analyst Intern to contribute to advancing our decarbonization strategy by analyzing emissions data and the developing internal sustainability tools. The role supports cross-functional efforts to maintain high-quality data and ensure alignment with industry standards. This is an exciting opportunity to drive climate action that shapes the future of low-carbon logistics.

Responsibilities

· Support the annual GHG inventory process by collecting, managing, and analyzing Scope 1, 2 and 3 GHG emissions data.

· Contribute to the development of GHG emission calculation methodologies.

· Assist in the deployment of GHG quantification tools and processes across the organization.

· Support internal and external reporting on GHG emissions, decarbonization progress, and sustainability efforts.

· Identify opportunities to improve data reliability and accuracy with cross-functional teams.

· The role involves daily (or regular) communication with pan-Canadian stakeholders.

Qualifications

· Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in sustainable development, or a related field.

· Basic skills in data management, analysis and visualization using Power BI and Excel.

· Basic knowledge of GHG emissions, inventories and sustainability practices.

· Familiarity with the GHG Protocol Corporate standard and the GHG Protocol Corporate Value Chain (Scope 3) Standard.

· Interest in learning about GHG quantification tools and frameworks like the GLEC Framework or Science-Based Targets Initiative (SBTi).

· Detail-oriented with an interest in developing efficient data collection and analysis processes.

· Proactive and solution-driven mindset.

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

· Comfortable working in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
