Vos Responsabilités

  • Gérance financière : Diriger le contrôle de gestion et le reporting financier des projets assignés, en garantissant le respect total des contrôles internes et des directives comptables de l'entreprise.
  • Stratégie de revenus et marges : Définir les jalons du projet et collaborer avec le service comptable pour assurer une comptabilisation précise des revenus. Suivre la performance d'exécution des projets et piloter des plans d'action pour optimiser les marges et la trésorerie.
  • Gestion des risques et opportunités : Identifier de manière proactive les risques liés aux projets et élaborer des plans correctifs. Utiliser une approche analytique pour transformer des données de projet complexes en informations exploitables pour la direction.
  • Optimisation des processus : Promouvoir l'excellence opérationnelle en simplifiant les flux de travail et en perfectionnant les modèles de prévision. Agir en tant qu'expert métier, en guidant votre équipe pour prioriser la prise de décision basée sur les données.
  • Leadership transversal : Agir en tant que mentor auprès des membres juniors de l'équipe, favoriser le consensus et bâtir une culture de transparence et de discipline financière.

Ce que vous apportez (Qualifications)

  • Formation : Licence (Bachelor) en finance, comptabilité ou domaine connexe délivrée par une université ou une école accréditée avec plus de 6 ans d'expérience professionnelle pertinente ; ou diplôme d'études secondaires (Baccalauréat) avec plus de 10 ans d'expérience pertinente.
  • Anglais et français courant écrit et parlé: L'employé(e) sera amené(e) à interagir de manière fluide avec des collègues de nos autres installations à travers et/ou à l'extérieur du Canada, et qui sont généralement incapables de communiquer en français et dont la langue de travail est principalement l'anglais.

  • Expérience confirmée en gestion de projet.
  • Expérience dans la documentation et l'exécution de programmes financiers stratégiques.
  • Capacité à naviguer et à synthétiser des informations provenant de multiples sources internes et externes.
  • Expérience démontrée en comptabilité de projet, contrôles internes et reporting financier.
  • Capacité prouvée à analyser des ensembles de données complexes, à proposer des solutions innovantes et à exécuter la stratégie selon les politiques établies.
  • Excellentes compétences en communication, avec la capacité d'influencer les parties prenantes et de diriger par le consensus.

As the Lead Finance Specialist for Project Control, you are the financial heartbeat of our mission-critical energy projects. You will act as the primary partner to project leadership, ensuring that our complex, large-scale initiatives are not only delivered with operational excellence but are also financially robust, compliant, and optimized for profitability.

What You’ll Do

  • Financial Guardianship: Lead controllership and financial reporting for assigned projects, ensuring full adherence to internal controls and corporate accounting guidelines.
  • Revenue & Margin Strategy: Define project milestones and collaborate with accounting to ensure accurate revenue recognition. Monitor project execution performance, driving action plans to optimize margins and cash flow.
  • Risk & Opportunity Management: Proactively identify project risks and develop corrective action plans. Use analytical thinking to translate complex project data into actionable insights for leadership.
  • Process Optimization: Champion operational excellence by simplifying workflows and refining forecasting models. Act as a subject matter expert, guiding your team to prioritize data-driven decision-making.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Serve as a mentor for junior team members, fostering consensus and building a culture of transparency and financial discipline.

What You’ll Bring (Qualifications)

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related decline from an accredited university or college with 6+ years of relevant work experience; or a High School diploma/GED with 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and French: The employee will be required to interact fluidly with colleagues in our other facilities across and/or outside of Canada, and who are generally unable to communicate in French and whose language at work is predominantly English.
