gate- Machinist level 1

This position is primarily responsible of machining all gates from the casting.

When casting is received from pre-inspection, visual check if all sell material has been removed, validates router.

•  Uses conventional milling machine to machine all gates from the casting as per requirements.

• Uses required fixturing for the specific castings and inspects fixtures for damage and compliance.

• Performs other duties as required.

• Respects the values and code of ethics of the company.

• Respects the Environment, Health & Safety programs of the company.

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.

• Ability to use measuring instruments.

• Ability to use a conventional milling machine

High School Diploma or equivalent machining training
