Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented D365 FA to join our growing IT team. In this critical role, you will play a key part in the successful implementation, enhancement, and support of our D365 F&O environment. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors to analyze business requirements, design and implement solutions, and ensure the optimal utilization of D365 F&O within our organization.

  • Lead the design and implementation of new features and enhancements within the D365 F&O environment to optimize business processes.
  • Collaborate closely with Finance, D365 users, and stakeholders to elicit requirements, analyze business needs, and recommend best practices.
  • Identify and evaluate opportunities for automation, optimization, and process improvements leveraging D365 F&O capabilities.
  • Stay abreast of the latest Microsoft D365 F&O updates, new features, and the product roadmap.
  • Evaluate upcoming releases, assess their potential business impact, and propose relevant feature adoption plans.
  • Develop and maintain a long-term D365 F&O enhancement roadmap aligned with business goals and strategic initiatives.
  • Drive the design and implementation of seamless integrations between D365 F&O and other enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, CRM, etc.).
  • Collaborate closely with developers, IT teams, and external vendors to ensure successful integration projects.
  • Troubleshoot integration issues and drive timely resolutions.
  • Coordinate with the D365 Analyst to manage system maintenance, upgrades, and performance optimization.
  • Serve as the primary subject matter expert (SME) for D365 F&O, possessing deep functional and technical knowledge.
  • Mentor and guide the D365 Analyst to enhance their solutioning and technical skills.
  • Partner with D365 developers to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
  • Ensure adherence to best practices, security standards, and architectural principles within the D365 F&O environment.
  • Effectively communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Collaborate with Finance, IT, and operational teams to ensure smooth adoption of new D365 F&O features.
  • Conduct training sessions, develop user documentation, and provide ongoing support to end-users.
  • Advocate for D365 F&O best practices across departments and promote its value within the organization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (formerly Dynamics AX).
  • Strong understanding of D365 F&O modules, including Finance, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing.
  • Proven experience in designing, developing, and implementing D365 F&O solutions.
  • Experience with D365 F&O integrations with other systems.
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.  
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.  
  • Experience with X++ development is a plus.
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., Azure) is a plus.
  • Microsoft certifications in D365 F&O are a plus.
  • A strong desire to learn and adapt to new D365 F&O features and functionalities.
  • Bilingual - English and French
