As an intern, you’ll have the opportunity to join one of the following teams:
- The Implementation for Commerce team empowers Coveo clients and partners to rapidly and robustly implement value driving primitives, which include product catalogs, data layers, and solution delivery.
- The Generic Connectivity team’s mission is to develop the generic connectors used for indexing from Web and Sitemap, covering everything from the configuration UI to the backend crawler.
- The Native Connectivity team develops and maintains our solution that crawls all the needed content and the related permissions from the different Service and Workplace platforms such as Salesforce, Slack, Jira, and Google Drive.
- The Service Core team supports the Coveo for Service line of business and the different Service Integrations by building dedicated backend services.
- Engage actively in daily stand-up meetings to discuss progress, roadblocks, and plans. Collaborate with team members to ensure alignment and effective communication.
- Manage and resolve assigned Jira tickets, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
- Contribute to real-world projects that will be implemented for Coveo's clients. This can include coding, testing, and deploying solutions that meet customer requirements and enhance their experience.
- Develop your skills by drawing on your mentor’s expertise. Watch, learn, and apply the best practices, methodologies, and strategies used in project management and software development.
- Take an active role in code review sessions. Offer constructive feedback and receive advice on how to raise the quality of your code, follow best practices and strengthen your programming skills.
- You are currently studying Software Engineering or Computer Science in a Bachelors degree or higher in the province of Québec.
- You are able to work from one of our offices 2 days a week. Our hybrid work model offers flexibility, you can benefit from face-to-face learning from your team on office days while home days allow you to focus and complete complex work.
- You are legally entitled to work full-time in Canada for the duration of the 15 week internship.
- You have experience with:
- To join our Implementation for Commerce team: at least one object-oriented programming language, relational databases, Git.
- To join one of our Connectivity teams: .Net/C#, Java, TypeScript, ReactJS.
- To join our Service Core team: React, Typescript, Java, Scala.
- You have a strong sense of ownership and are proud of what you create.
- You strive to grow and aren't afraid to ask questions.
- You have completed an internship in a similar role.
- You’ve participated in some hackathons and/or have a few personal projects.
- You have a head full of ideas; you’re passionate about the tech industry and lead with a proactive mindset.
