About the Role

We are looking for a Frontend Developer - (Mobile + Web) to join our growing team! As a Frontend Developer at Kento Health, you will play a key role in advancing the development of our innovative healthcare platform. You will collaborate with Engineering, Mobile Development, and Product teams to enhance both the web and mobile applications of our AI-powered cardiac care solution.

In this role, you will have ownership of building new features for our platform, which is focused on reducing the impact of cardiovascular disease. As a member of the team, you’ll help drive continuous care innovations and contribute to the quality of life improvements for patients around the world.

• Cross-Functional Exposure: You won’t just write code—you’ll collaborate with clinicians, business operations, clients, and end-users. Your work will have a direct impact on improving patient care and business outcomes.

• Ownership & Responsibility: You will take full ownership of mobile and web development, from concept to deployment, with the freedom to solve problems your way, while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

About You

• 3+ years of professional experience in mobile app development using Flutter.
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks like Angular (preferred) or React.
• Experience with RESTful API integration and best practices in mobile and web development.
• You have a proven ability to troubleshoot, debug, and solve complex issues.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Must hold a valid work permit to work in Canada. Kento Health does not sponsor work permits.
• Ability to work 2 days per week in our Montreal office, but could be fully remote for an exceptional fit.
• Experience in healthcare or a regulated industry is a plus.

Interview Process

1. Technical Test: A preliminary online test to evaluate your technical skills.
2. Live Coding Session & Technical Interview: A real-time coding session focusing on mobile and Angular, where you will demonstrate your problem-solving abilities. This ensures candidates with genuine coding expertise succeed.
3. Fit Interview with a Founder: A final interview to assess cultural fit and alignment with our mission and values.
