As a FPGA Development Tools Engineer you will:

  • Develop and optimize software tools for power and thermal analysis of Altera's next-generation FPGAs.

  • Implement new features to enhance user experience and improve runtime and memory efficiency.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with FPGA silicon designers, architects, and various Altera experts to model advanced silicon effects and integrate them into our tools.

  • Analyze and address customer feedback, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to a performance-optimized codebase.

  • A passion for delivering high-quality, efficient code and enhancing user experience.

This position offers opportunities for research, collaboration, and meaningful contributions to FPGA technology.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and

6+ months of total experience and experience in one or more of the following:

  • C/C++ 

  • Scripting language (Python, Perl, or TCL).

  • Understanding of algorithm runtime and memory optimization.
