Position Summary:
The Focus Accounts Director is a senior-level strategic sales role responsible for the development and expansion of Miovision’s market presence within major Canadian municipalities. The role serves as the primary executive point of contact for marquee accounts, tasked with aligning Miovision’s AI-driven traffic solutions with the specific mobility, safety, and infrastructure goals of city leadership. You will position Miovision as a trusted partner and thought leader in solving mobility challenges related to congestion, safety, and data-driven decision-making across all four business lines.
Key Accountabilities:
- Develop and execute strategic account plans for marquee Canadian cities.
- Build and maintain executive-level relationships with Mayors' Offices, DOTs, Vision Zero leaders, and Emergency Services.
- Identify and pursue new opportunities to address road safety and congestion through technology.
- Consistently achieve revenue targets and pipeline growth objectives.
- Position Miovision as a thought leader in ITS, smart cities, and V2X
- Navigate complex procurement processes and aligning solutions with specific funding streams and policy initiatives.
- Lead the consultative selling process and "storytelling" strategy to build trust with high-level decision-makers.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Product, Marketing) to ensure city-specific needs influence the innovation roadmap.
- Deep expertise in Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), Smart City technology, and V2X.
- Strong understanding of traffic operations, road safety strategies (Vision Zero), and transit mobility.
- Expertise in Canadian public procurement processes, funding models, and grant programs (e.g., Transport Canada).
- Exceptional consultative selling and strategic thinking skills.
- Extensive enterprise sales experience in ITS, Smart City technology, or related fields.
- Proven track record of selling to municipal and government agencies in Canada.
- Experience with data-driven governance and public-sector funding models
- Willingness to travel across major Canadian cities as required.
