A Strategic Role at the Heart of Logistic

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the entire consolidation process (7 companies)
  • Maintain the consolidation file and update it as needed (new company, new general ledger)
  • Prepare monthly variance analyses
  • Prepare monthly and annual financial statements for audit purposes (including cash flow statements)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect data related to lease agreements, calculate lease liabilities and right-of-use assets, and prepare schedules and disclosures in accordance with lease accounting standards.
  • Participate in the preparation of the Management Discussion and Analysis (MD&A) report on a quarterly basis
  • Maintain the chart of accounts and be responsible for creating new general ledger accounts.
  • Provide financial data and prepare the necessary documentation for external auditors
  • Monthly worksheets: Prepare and maintain monthly worksheets, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of accounting transaction entries.
  • Reconcile accounts, investigate, and resolve discrepancies to ensure data integrity
  • Perform other ad hoc analyses

Required qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required for this position
  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience in corporate accounting is ideal
  • Required languages: French or English

Compensation and benefits:

  • Annual salary between $72,500 and $78,000, depending on experience and educational background

  • Primary work location: Intelcom (Intelcom Courrier Canada Inc.), 200-1380 William Street, Montreal, QC, H3C 1R5, Canada
  • Full-time position – 40 hours/week
