We are seeking a Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Intern to contribute to Intelcom’s financial planning, budgeting, and performance reporting. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in forecasting, dashboard development, and data-driven decision-making in a dynamic business landscape.
Responsibilities
· Support budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning to guide strategic decisions.
· Perform variance analysis and financial modeling to evaluate performance and risks.
· Develop and automate KPI dashboards and financial reports using Power BI and Excel.
· Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all reporting and analytics.
· Identify process improvements and implement automation to enhance FP&A efficiency.
· Contribute to the shift toward driver-based planning and AI-powered forecasting.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial insights with operational goals.
· Translate complex financial data into actionable business recommendations.
· The role involves daily (or regular) communication with pan-Canadian stakeholders.
Qualifications
· Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, business administration, or a related field.
· Strong intent to pursue a CPA designation.
· Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and financial modeling.
· Experience with ERP systems, AI driven analytics and automation tool, and coding for analytics, is an asset.
· Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
· Ability to create insightful reports from large datasets and create insightful reports.
· Strong analytical skills with a problem-solving mindset.
· Strong collaboration, communication and presentation skills
