Your Mission
We are looking for a Financial Operations Analyst to join our fast-growing Settlement and Reconciliation team. Reporting to our North American Finance Manager, you will be supporting the team with settlement reconciliations and related activities, with a key focus on cash reconciliation, management and reporting.
Using multiple reports from various sources and collaborating with various teams, you will analyze and balance deposits and withdrawals from the bank settlement accounts. You will also maintain and improve financial data, processes, and tools. Proactively working with managers, you will produce regular reports showing the status of cash balancing, key performance measures, trends, and other related data. This position requires a high level of team collaboration and communication with other departments.
Key Responsibilities
1. Generate timely and accurate reconciliations for cash and reporting activity – mainly related to daily settlement.
2. Conduct research and identify sources or causes of out-of-balance issues.
3. Identify and develop account process efficiencies and process documentation.
4. Validate and produce financial balancing reports from various systems.
5. Communicate and collaborate effectively with both internal teams and external partners on all aspects of reconciliation – from problem identification and resolution, to daily process changes and enhancements.
6. Request and verify funds movement accurately and efficiently.
7. Contribute to special projects as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
1. 2+ years’ experience in accounting, banking, or related role.
2. Advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
3. Basic knowledge of banking functions and accounting principles.
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly within a fast-paced environment.
5. Ability to self-start and stay on task, requiring minimal supervision or direct management.
6. Experience establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with employees, clients and vendors.
7. Associates or technical degree in accounting, banking, or a related field.

This position offers an expected compensation range of [$54,000-71,000] per year, in accordance with Ontario’s pay transparency requirements.
