We are seeking a Financial Analyst Intern to support the team in tracking overhead budget and workforce analytics. This internship offers hands-on experience in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, reporting, and continuous improvement of tools.
Responsibilities
Support the preparation, consolidation, and monitoring of overhead budget.
Collaborate with the HR department to consolidate salary and benefit assumptions.
Maintain and improve tracking tools (controls, auditability, standardization).
Document and update key processes and SOPs
Participate in process testing to identify improvements.
The role involves daily (or regular) communication with pan-Canadian stakeholders.
Qualifications
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proficient in Microsoft 365, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
Interest in analytics and artificial intelligence (Power BI and Copilot, an asset).
Eagerness to learn with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment.
