The role we are offering you:

As part of the Finance team of the Products, Aftermarket Services and Customer Service – Civil (CPACS) division, under the direction of the CPACS Lead Finance, you will assume responsibility for the preparation and analysis of financial information. Are you ready to:

  • Analyze the revenue recognition criteria and conclude on the appropriate accounting treatment under IFRS;
  • Communicate important accounting information by writing memos;
  • Actively participate in month-end closing activities;
  • Collaborate in the external audit process
  • Participate in the implementation of new accounting standards;
  • Interact with the various groups (consolidation, taxation, treasury, internal audit, corporate group, etc.) to respond to ad hoc requests for information;
  • Prepare the reconciliation of balance sheet items for the various accounts;
  • Produce monthly reports and analyzes to back up the group's results that are being presented to managers.
  • Perform financial analysis and recommend solutions to identified problems;
  • Contribute to the implementation of innovative solutions related to various processes;
  • Participate in pilot projects for process optimization, including the integration of artificial intelligence.

Our ideal candidate has:

  • University degree in accounting or finance;
  • Professional accounting certification (CPA or equivalent);
  • Minimum of five years of relevant accounting experience;
  • Ability to address complex accounting and finance issues;
  • Sense of initiative;
  • Decision-making and critical thinking skills;
  • Good organizational skills, ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure in a results-based environment.
  • Good interpersonal and relationship management skills;
  • Experience in a accounting firm is an asset.
  • Good knowledge of Oracle, HFM, and/or Hyperion Planning systems an asset.
