As we embark on a strategic digital transformation journey, the Finance Digital Transformation team will be pivotal.
The Audit & Controls Lead - EDGE Finance Transformation will lead internal audit and controls activities within the EDGE transformation program, ensuring governance, risk mitigation, and compliance across system implementation phases. This role bridges finance digital transformation and global internal audit, supporting strategic objectives and operational integrity.

What you'll be doing.
Audit & Controls Leadership
  • Provide guidance on internal control frameworks aligned with EDGE program goals.
  • Conduct risk assessments and control evaluations across business processes impacted by system changes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure audit readiness and compliance during system implementation.
  • Support with documenting internal controls within current state process mapping.

System Implementation Oversight
  • Monitor control effectiveness during testing, deployment, and stabilization phases.
  • Support data migration audits and validation of financial reporting integrity.

Governance & Reporting
  • Prepare and present audit findings, control gaps, and remediation plans to both Finance Transformation and Internal Audit leadership.
  • Coordinate internal and external audit activities related to the EDGE program.

Stakeholder Engagement
  • Act as a liaison between Finance, Audit, and Program Management teams.
  • Provide training and guidance on control procedures to business users and project teams.
  • Support change management efforts by integrating control awareness into transformation communications.

What you'll need to be successful.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA designation required.
  • 5+ years of experience in internal audit, controls, or risk management.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and accounts payable processes.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (SAP) and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.
  • Experience in process mapping.
  • Demonstrated ability to implement process improvements and efficiency initiatives.
  • Preferred experience in the CPG or Manufacturing industries.

Compensation Package : $97,500.00 - $130,000.00 . CAD annually + Bonus Eligibility
The above reflects the target compensation range for the position at the time of posting. Hiring compensation will be determined based on experience, skill set, education and training, and other organizational needs.
