AIM is currently seeking a Ferrous Receiving Laborer for its Drummondville site. The position offers a schedule from Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., as well as Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Reporting to the Site Director, the Ferrous Receiver Laborer actively participates in the receiving, sorting, and shipping of ferrous metals.
What you will be responsible for :
- Welcoming customers courteously and applying established procedures
- Unloading, sorting, and inspecting ferrous metals received on site
- Identifying different types of metals and assessing their quality
- Operate industrial machinery and tools as needed (loader, forklift, torch, etc.);
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards at all times
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the worksite
- Performing any other related tasks to support operations

- Experience operating a forklift (an asset);
- Experience in metal recycling and knowledge of different types of metals (assets);
- Ability to work in a dusty, industrial environment;
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions;
- Excellent physical condition and ability to perform manual labor;
- Strong commitment to working safely at all times;
- Responsible, resourceful, punctual, reliable, and able to work well as part of a team.
