Work Period: July through December
Location: Onsite 5 days per week in Mississauga, Ontario. There is no relocation or housing assistance for this position.
This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced world of Ecommerce. As an Ecommerce & CRM Intern focusing on our Direct to Consumer business, you will play a crucial role in supporting our site merchandising and CRM strategy on our Canadian digital platforms. You will work closely with Ecommerce, sales, CRM and marketing teams to optimize product listings, web content, grow and enhance our email communications, drive conversion, and contribute to the growth of our direct to consumer channel.
Responsibilities include, supporting the launches of product and promotional campaigns, optimizing user journeys, and planning and executing email content based on business goals. The Ecommerce & CRM intern will also be responsible for actively growing our user base and increasing engagement across the Shark and Ninja brands, ensuring that we are creating a best in class experience for our customers.
Here are some of the EXCITING things you'll get to do:

  • Content Creation & Management
    • Setup and manage creative assets for email and promotional campaigns
    • Partner with internal teams and agencies to align on content needs.
    • Experiment with new content forms and approaches to identify new opportunities, drive traffic and optimize conversions.
    • Create and implement a strategic content calendar for both Shark and Ninja brands, including new product launch content, promotional emails, tips & tricks and seasonal moments; using data to ground content decisions.


    Site Merchandising & CRM Reporting

    • Support the Ecommerce team and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure product launches, promotional activity and customer communications lead to desired business results - driving sales and conversion rates through sharkclean.ca and ninjakitchen.ca
    • Build and update web pages and site journeys in support of new promotional campaigns
    • Ensure accuracy of all creative assets, linking, promotional and product setup for areas of focus
    • Monitor website KPIs to understand content and sales performance, as well as customer engagement with email communications; using this data to identify optimizations and risks.
    • Use industry insights and digital knowledge to identify opportunities to grow the SharkNinja Canada CRM user base.
    • Monitor key product inventory and flag stock risks and opportunities.


ATTRIBUTES & SKILLS:

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program, preferably in business, marketing, e-commerce, or a related field.
  • Must be able to come into the office 5 days per week.
  • Familiarity with GA360, CMS & CRM tools, Photoshop, Canva an asset
  • Proven understanding and experience working around marketing strategy & execution.
  • Must be proactive, highly detail oriented and possess strong organizational and time management skills, ability to multi-task and deadline oriented.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Competency with MS Office, intermediate proficiency with Excel required
  • Comfortable working with numbers, with an ability to organize data, interpret metrics and identify trends
  • Self-motivated and strong interest in learning about evolving digital channels and measurement
  • Outstanding problem resolution and follow up skills to effectively manage deliverables
  • Demonstrated skills in problem solving, analytical and critical thinking and proactive decision making.
  • Passionate team player with a positive "can-do" attitude
  • Intermediate French considered an asset but not required.
