In this role, you will perform 50% administrative work (working with contractors, writing bid specifications) and 50% technical work (fabrication, installation, maintenance and major repairs of all building equipment, accessories, and components).

In this role, you will perform 50% administrative work (working with contractors, writing bid specifications) and 50% technical work (fabrication, installation, maintenance and major repairs of all building equipment, accessories, and components).
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintains the operation of all building equipment, accessories, and components, which may include lab-related equipment.
- Responsibilities include maintenance, repairs, and operations of pollution control equipment and accessories, and/or other lab-related equipment.
- Responsible for various duties in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning, building automation, programmable logic controllers, mechanical, chemical, electrical disciplines and pollution control.
- Assists in training and supervision of others in the use of building equipment and components and operations.
- Writes bid specifications and all other associated tasks for bidding work out to contractors.
- Manages and coordinates "as-needed" and/or periodic work that is fulfilled by contractors.
- Responsible for input in the preparation of the annual budget for repairs and/or replacement of building equipment and/or components.
- Supervises building maintenance personnel in the absence of management.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Technical School Graduate or Higher degree in a related discipline e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Service Engineering.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience as a Facilities Supervisor or Facilities Coordinator etc., or on a similar position.
- Technical background - ideally in fixing and repairing building equipment, components, accessories etc.
- Ability to perform fabrication, installation, maintenance and major repairs to building equipment, accessories and components.
- Ability to assist in training and supervision of others in the use of building equipment and components.
- Excellent at stakeholder management and approach.
- Fluent Danish + good level of English language.
